How long does a project take?

A single floor office fit out is typically two to four weeks from survey to handover, depending on access and the state of the containment. Larger sites and multi-site rollouts are phased, with each location handed over as it completes rather than everything going live at once.

Can you work to a main contractor's programme?

Yes. On fit out and refurbishment projects we sequence against the other trades and attend site meetings where the programme requires it, so cabling goes in at the correct stage rather than being cut into finished work.

Do you quote before surveying?

No. The survey defines the scope, and the price follows from it. An estimate produced without seeing the building is a number rather than a price, and it is usually the reason projects run over.

Is this only for new buildings?

No. Roughly as much project work is refurbishment and relocation as new build. What defines it as a project is the scope covering a whole site or zone, rather than a visit to correct specific faults.
